October 7, 2017 was the 12th annual Cotton festival in the town of Clio, SC.
The festival is always the first Sat in October, as the cotton is harvested mid Sept to mid October.
In this picture, Karen is talking to Ben Petrone. He has lived in Clio for a year and is going to run for mayor in 2018.
The Guild Members in attendance, Sherry and Karen, had a great time and talked with several older people who used to work at the weaving mills and knew several of the weaving terms.
